This historic attraction is the perfect summertime spot to splash around, cool off, and relax by the pool. Liberty Bell Swimming Pool was built with natural stone from around the area by the men of the Civilian Conservation Corps in the late 1930’s as a part of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal program, and the first swim occurred in 1941. The pool is open to the public during the months of May through September, and the hours differ each month. The pool is also available for rental for private parties those same months during after hours. There are several season passes and group rates available for purchase.

Pool Rental After Hours
6:00pm – 8:00pm – $200 for 2 hours, $100 for each additional hour.

Liberty Bell Pool Guidelines
The Liberty Bell Pool is a National Historic Landmark, completed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1942. Its deck and pool are constructed from natural stone, which may be uneven, so please use caution. Swim shoes are recommended for walking around the facility.
Prohibited Activities & Items
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors, the following are not allowed in the pool or surrounding area:
- Running or horseplay
- Outside food, drinks, or coolers
- Floats (Only U.S. Coast Guard-approved flotation devices are permitted.)
- Climbing or playing on ropes, ladders, or drains
- Diving from the pool’s edge
- Smoking
- Yelling or distracting lifeguards
- Non-swimmers in the deep end
- Regular diapers (Swim diapers are required.)
- Exposed underwear (Proper swimwear required.)
- Pets
- Individuals with open wounds, bandages, or illness
- Snorkels and masks that cover the nose
