Start your morning off right with a refreshing hike led by a park ranger on the scenic Overlook Loop Trail (3.4 Miles). As we wind through peaceful forests and rolling ridges, you’ll discover the plants, animals, and natural history. This hike is a wonderful way to connect with nature, ask questions, and enjoy the park’s beauty before the day gets busy. This is considered a moderate to strenuous trail for active individuals. Trail has some loose rocks and acorns. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Pre-registration is required at the Park Office or by calling 706-663-4858. Admission: Free – $5 parking.
